What Are You Infecting People With?

That is not what you think? I don’t mean running around and sneezing or coughing at people or even better – adding some good stuff to their drinks or food.  Do you infect them with laughter or a smile? Or do you make them feel like crap?  You know exactly what I am talking about. You have those people in your life – you avoid them as plague.  If there is someone out there that exhausts you, burdens you, gives you a headache, can you say with certainty that you do not have an affect like that on anybody?

Do You know what is great about this life? You have a choice. You love people who make you laugh, you love people who seem interested in what you have to say. You love people who appreciate you for who you are.  Are you one of those people in somebody’s life? You have a choice not just to take but also give without a huge effort.

Have you ever infected anybody with the vision of what they can do? Have you ever inspired somebody to pursue their dreams or encourage to do what they love? Have you ever made an effort to point out to somebody what they are good at?

It is a well known fact that we all want to be accepted, we all want to be appreciated, we all want to be wanted and liked. The emphases is on “WANT”. However, look around! We all want but only a few give without any expectations.

How does it make you feel when somebody smiles at you? How does it feel when somebody says ” it was nice seeing you” and you feel that it was a simple sincere gesture.

You know that when you give a little piece of yourself away, you make people glow?

Yes, it is as simple as that. When you make somebody fall in love with themselves, they will remember you forever. They will talk about you to other people, they will look forward to meeting you. In other words, you will make a difference just by being you and sharing a piece of yourself.

So what are you infecting people with?

When I was thinking about writing this, I could not believe how it made me feel. It is always about us and how other people make us feel, but it is never a one way street.
